Terms
Terms of service.
The agreement between you and Beckon when you download, create an account, or use the app.
-
Agreement and eligibility.
By downloading, creating an account, or using Beckon, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. You must be at least 16 years old and have the authority to accept these Terms. If you use Beckon for an organization, you represent that you can bind it.
-
License and service.
We grant a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the macOS app under your plan, subject to these Terms. Beckon may use third-party AI, websites, and integrations. Availability and supported features can change; we will provide notice of material paid-feature changes where reasonably possible.
-
Your permissions and responsibilities.
You choose the macOS permissions and services to connect. You are responsible for the content you submit and for obtaining any notice or consent required to record meetings, capture system audio, process another person's data, access websites, send messages, or act in another person's account. Beckon requires explicit confirmation before actions that are sent, purchased, booked, published, or otherwise irreversible; review those proposed actions before you approve them.
-
Automated results.
Research, summaries, transcriptions, and recommendations may be wrong, incomplete, or stale. Prices, availability, job postings, and policies are set by third parties and should be confirmed at the source. Beckon does not itself sell travel, employment opportunities, or merchant products unless explicitly stated. No guarantee of a booking, purchase, interview, or outcome is made.
-
Plans and recurring billing.
Checkout shows price, currency, taxes, billing period, and applicable limits before purchase. Paid plans renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. A canceled plan remains active through the current paid period unless local law or the checkout terms say otherwise. We will disclose any price change before it applies and handle notice or consent as required.
-
Limits and fair use.
Credits, and how many each action uses, are defined on the Pricing page. Beckon displays the remaining credits and pauses Pro features when they run out, without surprise overage billing. We may apply reasonable safeguards to prevent automated abuse, excessive tool loops, service disruption, or policy evasion. We will not retroactively shrink an already-paid allowance without notice and an appropriate remedy.
-
Third-party links and commissions.
Some outbound links may earn a commission; the visible affiliate disclosure explains this. Partners control their own products, prices, bookings, support, and policies. A paid relationship does not determine Beckon's recommendation order.
-
Prohibited use.
Do not use Beckon to violate law or others' rights, gain unauthorized access, scrape contrary to applicable rules, send spam, abuse the service, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or circumvent usage safeguards. Beckon may apply a proportionate suspension when abuse is substantiated, with a route to appeal.
-
Ownership and feedback.
Beckon retains its app, branding, and service intellectual property. You retain rights in your content. You grant us the limited rights necessary to process it to provide your requested features. No broad training license is granted by these Terms. Feedback may be used to improve the product without disclosing your private content.
-
Termination and changes.
You may stop using Beckon and cancel from the Account page in Beckon. We may suspend accounts for substantiated abuse or legal necessity, with notice where practical. Material Terms changes take effect after a notice period unless required sooner by law; continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance where legally valid.
Draft notice. Warranty disclaimer, liability cap, consumer-law carve-outs, governing law, venue, and dispute mechanism will be added under local counsel review before launch, alongside the effective date, provider entity, and contact information.
